Czech minister apologises for statements on Romanies ... Bursik (Greens) with the audit report. The two said the document brings no arguments for Cunek, head of the junior ruling Christian Democrats (KDU-CSL), to be dismissed from the cabinet. Cunek was accused of corruption in spring 2007 but his prosecution was later halted under unusual circumstances, with much of his financial deals remaining unclear. A few months ago, Schwarzenberg had an audit of Cunek's family property worked out by the U.S.
company Kroll. He made his remaining in the government conditional on the audit's favourable result. The server Tyden.cz, however, says that the audit is not yet over as Cunek did not pass the complete file the police had worked out while investigating his suspected corruption last year, to the auditor.
