The framework agreement follows Czech-US agreement on the stationing a U.S.
radar base on Czech soil, signed by U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and her Czech counterpart Karel Schwarzenberg in Prague on Tuesday. Czech deputy foreign minister Tomas Pojar said in Impulsy Vaclava Moravce on radio Impuls that thanks to the agreement, Czech companies would be able to vie for all kinds of orders. The agreement will now be analysed in the Czech Republic and the USA. It could be signed in early autumn, Pojar said. Pojar believes the agreement would be signed by Defence Ministers of both countries because it was negotiated by experts from these ministries.
