33.7. As the Christian Democrats would only receive 4.5 percent, they would not cross the five-percent threshold required for the parliament. The Greens are popular with 8.1 percent and the Communists with 11.8 percent of Czechs. The number of the government parties' mandates fell by nine compared to May. The voter turn-out would be 54 percent, while 17 percent said resolutely they would not turn up in the polling stations. According to a poll conducted by the polling institute CVVM and released earlier today, the Social Democrats would win the general election with 37 percent of the vote if it was held now, followed by the ODS with 27.5 percent.
