The Communists (KSCM), whom 15.5 percent of Czechs supported, were the third most popular party. The positions of the three above parties have remained unchanged, though the CSSD's lead over the ODS is 2 percentage points lower than in the previous CVVM poll released in May. However, according to the latest Median poll, CSSD would win the elections 4 percent ahead of the ODS. The remaining two parties in parliament - the Greens (SZ) and the Christian Democrats (KDU-CSL) - were supported by 7.5 percent and 10.5 percent of Czechs, respectively, the CVVM pollsters said. The SZ and the KDU-CSL that are the ODS's junior coalition partners sometimes fail to win enough support to cross the 5-percent parliamentary threshold.
